Paranaque City to experience water interruption on Oct. 29 to Nov. 1


The Paranaque City government advised residents to start saving water as Maynilad will implement water service interruption on Oct. 29 to Nov. 1.

A letter was sent to Mayor Edwin Olivarez by Maynilad on Oct. 21 on the Department of Public Works and Highways’ (DPWH) flood control project in Manila.

It said Maynilad has to realign its seven-foot diameter water pipeline along Sobriedad Street in Manila starting Oct. 20 up to Nov. 1 to give way to the project.

The areas affected on Oct. 29 at 11 a.m. up to Oct. 30 at 3 p.m. are T. Cluadio St. in Barangay Baclaran, Marina and PAGCOR City in Barangay Tambo.

Ten barangays in the city will be affected by the water service interruption on Oct. 30 at 12 noon up to Oct. 31 at 10 p.m. These are Baclaran, BF Homes, Don Galo, La Huerta, Moonwalk, San Dionisio, San Isidro, Sto. Nino, Tambo, and Vitalez.

Eight areas to be affected by the water service interruption on Oct. 31 at 2 p.m. up to Nov. 1 at 11:59 p.m. are Don Bosco; Marcelo Green, Armstrong, Moonbeam, E. Rodriguez, RHOMVI and PHIMRA Streets in Barangay Moonwalk, and San Antonio, San Martin de Porres, Sun Valley and Greenheights Village in Barangay San Isidro.

Customers are encouraged to save enough water before the alignment activity.
