Was there money involved in Kylie-Aljur split?

Comedian-talent manager Ogie Diaz has revealed some little-known details concerning the marriage of Kylie Padilla and Aljur Abrenica.

On his recent vlog, Ogie noted how the pandemic hit both hard financially.

In fact, the last time he spoke with the two, they told him they were selling their three-storey townhouse in Quezon City.

"Di ko sure kung nabenta na at napaghatian na," said Ogie.

Which prompted Mama Loi to ask if the couple's marriage was already on the rock during that time.

Ogie then related that Kylie was still living in the said place.

"Meron lang nag-chika sa akin, na na-shock siya dahil naubos daw yung savings ni Kylie," Ogie said.

"Meron kaming common friend, na na-shock siya kasi parang may 6 million pa si Kylie, parang deflating talaga yung savings niya, so parang nung tinanong si Kylie 'Ano bang nangyari, bakit ganito na lang ang pera mo?' Eh kasi nga, kinakapos sila ni Aljur, kaya siya yung bumubunot. So konting, konting, konti na lang ang pera ni Kylie."

Ogie's story seemingly echoed Kylie's cousin's statement about Aljur not being able to put food on the table.
