BREAKING! Aljur Abrenica on Kylie Padilla: 'She was the love of my life'

Aljur Abrenica wants to put an end to the ongoing ruckus concerning his marital woes.

This, of course, even if he was actually the one who triggered it in the first place, posting a barbed message aimed towards Kylie in Facebook.

During the recent press conference for his movie "Manipula," the 31-year-old star shared he is "not proud" of what he did.

"The reason why nagawa ko yun... out of... impulse," said he.

"Kasi I felt like, nasasagad na ako, natulak, natulak na ako, nabugbog na ako," Aljur added.

He reiterated: "Hindi ko na siya gustong i-elaborate dahil pamilya ko pa rin sila."

"Nagpapasalamat ako sa inyo dahil alam ko naman kung bakit kayo nagtatanong at gano'n kaapektado ang mga tao dahil sinubaybayan niyo yung pagsasama namin ni Kylie," he added.

"And I can still say na she was the love of my life. Talagang minahal ko yung babaeng yon. I valued our family more than anything. So I was really affected no'ng nangyari yon (split). And (out of) respect, sana, di ba, pamilya ko pa rin sila. May pagkakamali rin ako."

Aljur related that for the sake of his two children with Kylie, Alas and Axl, he is now hoping things between them will be settled quietly and soon.

"Gusto ko lang matapos 'to."
