Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano said the city government initially scheduled around 70 pre-listed children in the city to get Pfizer vaccines against COVID-19, but 14 others were later added to the list.

She said the vaccination of minors was warmly welcomed by the parents in the city.

The mayor said the vaccination rollout for minors was conducted at the Pasay City General Hospital (PCGH), with its officer-in-charge, Dr. John Victor de Gracia, leading the inoculation.

Rubiano said based on the report of De Gracia, one of the minors set for vaccination was not given the shot due to a high blood pressure.

She said the city government will administer the vaccines to 60 minors per day at the PCGH from Monday to Friday at 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

The mayor personally gave the children their vaccination cards after getting the shots.
