642 senior citizens in Pasay City receive cash gifts

The Pasay City government distributed cash gifts to around 642 senior citizens whose birth month is September.

The distribution of the cash gift to senior citizens was held on Oct. 21 at the Office of Senior Citizen’s Affairs (OSCA).

Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano said the 642 senior citizens from Barangays 60 to 117 each received P1,500 as a birthday gift.

The P1,500 cash gift given to the city’s senior citizens is also part of Rubiano’s HELP priority program (H- healthcare and housing; E- education, economic Growth and environment; L- livelihood and lifestyle and P- peace and order, palengke (market) and pamilya (family).

Rubiano said the P1,500 cash gift given to senior citizens will help them in their needs, particularly in buying medicines.
