The vaccination roll out for minors with comorbidities was conducted at the Las Pinas General Hospital and was attended by Vice-Mayor April Aguilar and other city government officials to ensure that health protocols will be followed.

Mayor Imelda Aguilar said the city government plans to inoculate around 300 minors a day to protect them from the dreaded coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

Aguilar was also happy to note that around 20,000 minors have already registered with the city government’s vaccination program, “Bakunahan sa Kabataan.”

She said of the 20,000 minors registered, around 2,069 minors belong to the A3 category or those with comorbidities.

The mayor said the vaccination for minors with comorbidities will be from Oct. 22 to 31.

Aguilar urged the parents of the city’s youth to register their children through https://bit.ly/e-covidreg or ask assistance from their respective barangays.

The mayor said she also wants the youths to be part of the “Ligtas na Las Pineros, Lahat Bakunado” for the city to achieve herd immunity.
