Dead man found in QC tunnel

A man was found dead along Sandiganbayan Tunnel, Brgy. Batasan Hills, in Quezon City on Friday morning.

The Quezon City Police District (QCPD) identified the man as Arnel Cabangbang, 47, a resident of Brgy. Batasan Hills.

According to the police, the victim was found by his nephew, Kenneth Amor, 26, when he noticed a crowd of bystanders looking down at the tunnel.

He saw his lifeless uncle on the tunnel’s pavement.

Amor said he tried to locate his uncle after he left their residence early Friday morning for an unknown reason.

Authorities from Scene of the Crime Operatives (SOCO) and QCPD are looking into the possibility that the victim fell from a footbridge above the tunnel.
