Bong and Lani Revilla's three sons seeking gov't posts

Sen. Bong Revilla and Bacoor City Mayor Lani Mercado Revilla's three sons are all seeking government positions in the 2022 elections.

On Friday (Oct. 22), Mayor Revilla announced on Facebook that her youngest son, Ram Revilla, will also be running for office.

"Ramon Vicente 'Ram Revilla' Bautista has filed his certificate of candidacy as Board Member of the 2nd district of Cavite (Lone District of Bacoor)," she wrote as she posted a photo of Ram holding his COC with her and brother Bryan.

"He substitutes for his brother Bryan Revilla who will be the first nominee of AGIMAT Partylist," she added.

The couple’s other son, incumbent Cavite Vice Governor Jolo Revilla, filed his COC for Cavite 1st district representative on Oct. 7.

The actress-turned-politician, on the other hand, filed her COC for Cavite’s 2nd district representative on Oct. 8.

She hopes to switch positions with incumbent Cavite 2nd District Rep. Strike B. Revilla, who will be running for Bacoor city mayor.
