Vic Sotto sings praise of Maine Mendoza

Seasoned comedian-TV host Vic Sotto has nothing but good words for actress Maine Mendoza.

In a recent interview, he described Maine as a "natural" comic and a "very good" actress.

"Even from the start, nung AlDub pa lang, we knew that there was something in her; that she has the talent and nakita naman nating lahat, na-witness nating lahat yung pag-evolve to a better actress, to a better host, lalo na sa Bulaga. She’s just a natural," Vic said.

"I don't remember the times na I gave her pointers," he added. "Natural na lang lumalabas eh kung ano man yung kalokohan, kagandahan, o yung galing niya sa pag-arte, mapa-comedy, serious, mapa-batuhan ng opinyon."

Vic reiterated how Maine is "very well-rounded and very talented."

Of course, Maine can't help but feel flattered upon hearing those words.

According to her, even after staying in the business for quite some time, she still feels intimidated working with veteran stars.

Anyway, this month, the third-year anniversary episode of "Daddy's Gurl" will be airing on GMA.
