Riva Quenery welcomes first child

Actress Riva Quenery has given birth.

She named her daughter with longtime boyfriend Vern Flores Ong, , Athena Rae.

On Instagram, she revealed that they welcome their first child last Oct. 12 at 3:42 p.m.

Meanwhile, Vern also shared the news on his social media account, writing: "My princess has arrived!"

Friends from showbiz like Kathryn Bernardo, Loisa Andalio, Awra Briguela, Sue Ramirez, Ruffa Gutierrez, Devon Seron, Maris Racal, and Chito Miranda congratulated the couple.

Recall that early this year when Star Magic actress and online content creator announced that she’s expecting.

The 23-year-old artist first rose to fame as a member of “It’s Showtime’s” all-female group GirlTrends.

Then she mounted her first solo concert, performed on “World of Dance” in Los Angeles, and sang her first-ever track on YouTube Fanfest.

She has also appeared on the series “Make It with You” starring Enrique Gil and Liza Soberano and “The House Arrest of Us” led by Kathryn and Daniel Padilla.
