Navotas, QC to start vaccinating minors with comorbidities vs COVID-19


The Navotas City government and the local government of Quezon City will start to administer COVID-19 jabs to minors aged 12-17 with comorbidities on Friday, Oct. 22.

According to a Facebook post by the Navotas city public information office, the vaccination will start on Oct. 22 at the Navotas City Hospital.

Minors with comorbidities aged 15-17 will be vaccinated first. They will receive a text message on their vaccination schedule.

They are expected to receive either the Pfizer or Moderna jabs.

Meanwhile, the local government of Quezon City will be vaccinating minors aged 12-17 from Oct. 22-28.

The vaccinations sites will be at the Quezon City General Hospital (Oct. 22-27) and St. Luke's Medical Center - Quezon City (Oct. 22-28).

Individuals are required to present their medical certificate, a document proving the parent/guardian and child relationship such as birth certificate, valid ID of the parent or guardian, and valid ID of the child (school ID, passport, etc).

Parents/guardians may register their child at the QC Vax Easy Plus https://qceservices.quezoncity.gov.ph/qcvaxeasy.

On Sept. 28, Malacanang approved the vaccination of minors against COVID-19.
