Minors, with ages 17 and below, are now allowed to do outdoor activities in Navotas City, the local government announced on Thursday, Oct. 21.
The Metro Manila Council (MMC) on Oct. 19, signed MMDA Resolution No. 21-24, Series of 2021, allowing the said age group to travel and visit open areas.
It also allows minors to travel outside Metro Manila as long as they are accompanied by their parents or guardians, purchase essential goods and services, do individual outdoor exercises, and work (for ages 15 and older).
The local government reminded the minors to always wear protective gears and to follow the guidelines set by the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID).
