Robin Padilla criticizes use of English following Aljur Abrenica's viral statement against Kylie Padilla

Some say it's just coincidence.

Others believe otherwise.

They think it is a direct attack on Aljur Abrenica.

Talking about Robin Padilla's recent post, criticizing the use of the English language particularly in creating laws.

It read: “Hindi ginawa ang batas para para maintindihan lamang ng mga matatalino at may mataas na katayuan at pinag aralan. Ang batas ay nililikha para sa proteksyon ng mas nakakarami, mahina, mahirap, at walang laban. Ang mga batas na inukit sa malalalim na banyagang salita ay sinasadya para hindi maintindihan ng karamihan ng mga tao. Isang malinaw na panlilinlang sa interes ng inangbayan at taongbayan.”

In the caption, the action star added: "Hindi ba't nangyayari pa hanggang sa ngayon ang panghihiya, pang aapi at pangmamaliit dahil tagalog o bisaya o Ilocano atbpa ang ginagamit na wika? Ang katuruan ng mga colonial na paaralan ay naghahari pa hanggang sa ngayon. Ang kanilang pinagyayaman ay Hindi baleng hindi ka maintindihan ng karamihan Basta nakapagsalita ka ng maganda at malalim na inglis ay magaling at matalino ka na..."

Note that Aljur made headlines after issuing a challenge to estranged wife Kylie Padilla -- Robin's daughter -- on social media, urging her to reveal what really caused their split.

He wrote in English: “Don’t hide and disguise your comments, statement for your self gain. Tell them who cheated first. Tell them who wrecked our family. Tell them why I gave up on you not on our family. The people deserves to know..."

While most focused on the sentiment inherent to the statement making it go viral, the grammar police made fun of his English.
