FEU students, alumni launch 'Tams for Leni'

To express their support to the presidential bid of Vice President Leni Robredo, students and alumni launched "Tamaraws for Leni Robredo."

"Hamon sa lahat na piliin ang tamang pamumuno -- isang gobyernong matino at mahusay (The challenge for everyone is to choose the right leader -- a government that is honest and efficient," the group said in a Facebook post.

"Tumindig tayo mga Tamaraws para sa hangad nating positibong pagbabago na sama-samang ipapanalo kasama si Pangulong Leni Robredo! (We, Tamaraws, must stand up for our desired positive change with President Leni Robredo)"

In an interview with FEU Advocate, the official student publication of the University, alumna Clarice Gerona said the main goal of the volunteer campaign team is to reach "media voters" or "undecided voters."

Gerona added that the volunteer team also plans to conduct ground campaigns, including mobilizing volunteers in Metro Manila and Calabarzon, and organizing educational discussions on social media.

"Tams for Leni" also encouraged fellow alumni and students to volunteer for the organization.
