K-pop boy band NCT 127, BLACKPINK’s Lisa, ATEEZ, ITZY and STAYC topped the monthly album sales for September.
South Korea’s Hanteo Chart released the monthly physical album chart rankings for September 2021.
NCT 127 ranked first with the new album “Sticker” selling 1,200,155 copies in September. The album was released on Sept. 17 and it topped Hanteo’s weekly album chart with 803,640 copies sold from Sept. 13 to 19. It topped the weekly chart the following week with 280,861 copies in sales from Sept. 20 to 26.
BLACKPINK member Lisa’s debut solo album “Lalisa” bagged second place for the month of September with 748,762 copies sold. Released on Sept. 10, “Lalisa” sold 736,221 copies in the first week of release from Sept. 10 to 16. Hanteo Chart said with this, Lisa set records of achieving first place in first-week sales among all female artists of all time and becoming the first female solo artist to achieve 500,000 copies in first-week sales. “Lalisa” debuted at No. 84 on the Sept.15-dated Billboard Hot 100 chart.
K-pop boy band ATEEZ’s “Zero: Fever, Pt. 3” is in third place with 671,104 copies sold in September.
ITZY’s “Crazy In Love” placed fourth with 259,705 copies sold followed by STAYC’s “Stereotype” with 120,551 copies in sales last month.
