Leren Mae Bautista 'signs off' from pageantry

"There is no such thing as defeat if you try."

This is what Leren Mae Bautista said biddding pageantry adieu.

On Instagram, the Miss Universe Philippines 2021 Top 10 finalist from Laguna thanked those who supported her journey as beauty queen.

"#WeMadeItHappen," she wrote. "The crown is my dream and representing Philippines is my pride and honor, we might not have the crown but having you fight with me all through out the competition made me realized that the true crown is infront of me and that crown is you."

"From the bottom of my heart, Maraming Maraming salamat po sa lahat ng tumulong at sumuporta sakin hanggang dulo. Salamat LAGUNA! I will always be proud to represent you in whatever path I choose. Salamat PILIPINAS!"

According to her, pageantry "changed" her life.

"I will forever hold on this...................... 'ONCE A BINIBINI, ALWAYS A BINIBINI.' For the last time, Leren Mae Magnaye Bautista, LAGUNA! Now signing off."

Recall that prior to Leren's MUPH stint, she was crowned winner in several major pageants such as Mutya ng Pilipinas Asia Pacific International 2015 and Binibining Pilipinas Globe 2019.

She represented the Philippines at the Miss Tourism Queen of the Year International 2015 where she was crowned as winner; and at The Miss Globe 2019 pageant where she placed 2nd Runner-Up.
