Joel Apolinario vies for Senate

A senatorial aspirant named Joel “Pastor” Apolinario is seeking a Senate post in the May 2022 elections.

Apolinario filed his certificate of candidacy (COC) through his representatives at the Harbor Garden Tent in Sofitel Manila, Pasay City on Saturday, Oct. 2.

A representative of Apolinario said that the latter’s platform include the creation of jobs through partnership with private sectors and “massive construction and development of all infrastructures.

He also vowed to provide land to the landless, access to quality education through “study now, pay later” scheme, and livelihood.

“This is what Pastor Joel’s program for our government,” his representative said.

It was not immediately confirmed if the Senate aspirant is the same as the founder of the controversial religious group KAPA Community Ministry International whose founder is also named Joel Apolinario.

The KAPA was alleged to be involved in an investment scam.
