Carlo Biado headlines Filipino pool players in Abu Dhabi 9-Ball Championship

Reigning US 9-ball Open Champion Carlo Biado headlines a crack roster of Filipino pool players in the Abu Dhabi Open 9-Ball Championship which will unfurl at the Power Break Billiard Hall in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates on November 8 to 11.
All eyes will be on Biado who ended the Philippines' 27-year drought in the prestigious tournament with a come-from-behind victory over Aloysius Yapp, 13-8, last month. Down, 3-8, in the Finals, the pride of La Union won 10 straight racks to claim the crown.
Biado is looking to carry the same magic when the Filipino contingent, which also consists Roland Garcia, Armando "Agila" Cagol, Demosthenes Pulpul, Jordan Bañares, Jayson Nuguid and Ivan Maluto, takes on some of the world’s top pool masters in the event
Completing the roster are Harry Vergara, Arnel Bautista, Oliver Medenilla, Mac Kalagayan, Bong Sotero and Kyle Amorato.
Teams from UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Iran, and Oman are also set to compete for 46,000 AED (United Arab Emirates dirham) event with the champion getting the lion share of 20,000 AED (United Arab Emirates dirham).
