QC police arrest 2 rape suspects

The Quezon City Police District (QCPD) announced the arrest of two rape suspects in two separate operations in the city and in San Jose del Monte, Bulacan on Monday, Oct. 18.

Police identified the suspects as Diosdado Verzo, 57, a resident of Brgy. Commonwealth, Quezon City; and Robert Nool, 18, of San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan.

Police Lt. Col. Alex Sonido, Batasan Police Station 6 commander, said Verzo was arrested in his residence at about 7:15 p.m.

Meanwhile, Nool was nabbed in front of the Starmall in San Jose del Monte, Bulacan by members of Kamuning Police Station at around 4:15.

The suspects are both listed as QCPD’s most wanted persons with warrants of arrest issued by the Quezon City Regional Trial Court for rape cases.
