Over 40,000 minors registered for COVID-19 vaccination in Manila, the city’s Public Information Office (PIO) announced on Tuesday, Oct. 19.

As of Monday, Oct. 18, a total of 41,316 minors aged 12 to 17 have registered for COVID-19 immunization through the Manila vaccination registry website.
Of the total number of registrants, 13,871 are from Districts 1 and 2; while 4,723 are from District 3; 7,742 from District 4; 8,861 from District 5; and 6, 6,119 from District 6.
The Manila city government is waiting for the national government’s go-signal before starting its mass vaccination campaign for all minors belonging to the 12-17 age bracket. (Seth Cabanban)
