Electrician said to be a high-value target nabbed in drug buy bust


CAMP MARCALO A ADDURU, TUGUEGARAO CITY — A 28-year old electrician categorized as a High-Value Individual was arrested during an intensified anti-illegal drug buy bust operation by authorities in Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya Tuesday, October 19.

The suspect was identified as Rowell Prado, alias "Boyaks” who was nabbed inside his residence in Barangay Bonfal Proper in Bayombong.

Confiscated from the suspect were one piece of one thousand peso bill which served as the buy-bust money; one piece heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing a white crystalline substance believed to be "Shabu" (buy-bust stuff); two pieces heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing the same illegal drug (possession) and one unit of a plateless red TMX 125 Motorcycle.

The operation was conducted by joint forces of the Bayombong Police Station, Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit, Provincial Intelligence Unit, Nueva Vizcaya Police Provincial Office, Regional Drug Enforcement Unit, in coordination with PDEA Region 2.

The suspect is now in the custody of Bayombong Police Station, and a case was already filed against him through inquest proceedings for Violation of Article 11 of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
