The wife of Gary Valenciano was quick to react to the rumors that her husband will be transferring network.

Recall that some days ago, Mr. Pure Energy wrote on Twitter: "Hi everyone. Just wanted to see how you’re all doing. Can I ask you say a prayer for me? Major decisions I need to make and I hope I make the one that is truly lead by the Spirit. Thanks my friend."

Many netizens assumed that Gary was hinting at jumping to another network.

But Angeli Pangilinan deemed those assumptions as "pure gossip."

"Where did you get that? He had to make a personal decision not a professional decision. People speculated. Rest assured he will remain in @ASAPOfficial We respect the decisions of others to move, but he is not led to do so," she explained.

She reiterated how sometimes people stress over matters that don't exist.

Angeli related: "I ended up reading comments of fans and followers of @GaryValenciano1 when he publicly asked for prayer, which he rarely does. I was amused & touched that many speculated & assumed he was leaving ABS. It was a private decision he had to make. And no he is not going into politics!"

The wife of Gary said how, for the last 18 years of her husband's career with the Kapamilya network, the other end has treated him "well" and saw them through his medical crisis.

"Even giving him @worldofdance @WODABSCBN after the bypass/cancer challenge. Don’t worry everyone. It was never considered."

She ended her post: "Lastly, for those who have prayed with us&for him we want to thank u. It touched us deeply that hundreds, perhaps thousands, prayed for him. Maraming salamat sa inyong lahat. Naramdaman namin ang pagmamahal ninyo at lungkot. Huwag kayong mag-alala. Mananatili siyang Kapamilya."

Apparently, Gary's absence during the "ASAP Natin To" episode has also ignited the rumor.

But Angeli revealed that the singer-dancer took a day off because he had dengue fever. Though, Gary is okay already.
