PDEA seizes P6.8-M worth of shabu in Cebu City drug bust

Operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) in Central Visayas seized P6.8 million worth of shabu following the arrest of a drug pusher on Sunday, Oct. 17, in a buy-bust operation in Cebu City.

PDEA spokesperson Derrick Arnold Carreon identified the suspect as Nestor Rosal, 59 who was collared at 4:10 p.m. in Purok 4, Barangay Kamputhaw.

Rosal is among those included in the PDEA Regional Office VII high-value target (HVT) list.

The PDEA Regional Office operating team confiscated 10 packs of suspected shabu and buy-bust money from the suspect.

Rosal is now facing charges for violation Section 5, Article II of Republic Act (RA) 9165 otherwise known as “The Comprehensive Dangerous Act of 2002.’’ (Chito A. Chavez)
