Ayala-led AC Energy Corporation (ACEN) and its Vietnamese firm-partner AMI Renewables will be piloting the installation of battery energy storage system (BESS), as a coupling technology that shall be integrated in their 50-megawatt solar farm project in Khanh Hoa province.
In a statement to the media, AC Energy indicated that the ‘pilot testing’ of the battery technology has been made possible through the US$2.962 million grant extended by the United States Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City.
