5.2-magnitude quake hits Severo-Kuril'sk, Russia

NEW YORK -- A 5.2-magnitude earthquake jolted 160 km S of Severo-Kuril'sk, Russia at 17:39:15 GMT on Sunday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 35.0 km, was initially determined to be at 49.2389 degrees north latitude and 155.957 degrees east longitude.
