P686,800 shabu seized in Muntinlupa buy-busts

Police arrested two drug suspects and seized 100 grams of shabu (methamphetamine hydrochloride) in a buy-bust operation in Muntinlupa City Saturday night.

The anti-illegal drugs operation was conducted by the Muntinlupa police’s Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) led by Police Maj. Peter Aquino at about 11 p.m. at the old terminal in Brgy. Alabang.

Southern Police District (SPD) Director Jimili Macaraeg identified the arrested suspects as Jalanie Camulo alias Mama and Sittie Pindatun alias Eallah.

Confiscated from suspects were three plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu weighing about 100 grams with an estimated value of P680,000, a leather pouch and two P500 bills.

The drugs will be turned over to the SPD Crime Laboratory for chemical analysis. The two suspects are detained at the Muntinlupa Custodial Facility.

Last Friday, the Muntinlupa DEU also arrested two suspects in an entrapment operation in Purok 5, Brgy. Sucat.

The suspects were identified as Reginald Leceta, 40, and Jeffryan Bunag, 35, both residing in Brgy. Sucat.

Seized from the suspects were two plastic sachets containing about 1 gram of shabu estimated to be worth P6,800, police said.
