UP among world's best universities for clinical and health

The University of the Philippines (UP) emerged as one of the world's best universities for Clinical and Health, according to the 2022 Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings by Subject.

UP was included in the 151-175 bracket in Clinical and Health and in the 1,000 bracket in Physical Sciences.

The University also placed in the 601+ bracket in Social Sciences, 801+ bracket in Computer Science, 801-1,000 bracket in Engineering, and 801-1,000 bracket in Physical Sciences along with the De La Salle University.

The THE rankings by subject list research-intensive institutions and the criteria used to put emphasis on research resources, global outlook, productivity, and scientific impact.

This year, 925 higher educational institutions met the criteria to be included in the Clinical and Health area.
