BACOLOD CITY – A nine-year-old boy died after in. hit-and-run incidenf involving three vehicles on Araneta Street in Barangay Singcang-Airport here Friday, Oct. 15.

Police Maj. Joery Puerto, head of Police Station 8, said “Kian” was crossing the street when a white van reportedly hit him around 10 p.m. and fled.

Puerto said two other unidentified vehicles also passed by the area and reportedly ran over the victim who died on the spot.

Puerto said the victim was among those children loitering in that area despite the warning of the police on curfew hours.

Puerto said they are reviewing the closed circuit television (CCTV) camera footage nearby to identify the three vehicles involved in the accident through their plate numbers.
