All barangay health workers in Navotas City received their P6,000 cash incentive for rendering service during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The local government distributed the cash assistance on Friday, Oct.15.
“Our barangay workers have also been at the forefront of our fight against COVID-19, risking their lives while safeguarding ours. We want to recognize their sacrifices and show our gratitude for their selfless service to Navoteños,” Mayor Toby Tiangco said.
The one-time financial assistance to Barangay Health Workers (BHW), Barangay Nutrition Scholars (BNS), and members of the Barangay Health Emergency Response Team (BHERT) is granted under the City Ordinance 2021-52,193.
