Cemeteries in Caloocan City closed on 'Undas'

All cemeteries in Caloocan City will be closed to the public from Oct. 29 to Nov. 2 to avoid the spread of coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

Mayor Oca Malapitan ordered the closure of all cemeteries and columbaria after the Metro Manila Council passed a resolution urging all local chief executives to restrict access to all cemeteries in the National Capital Region on All Souls’ Day and All Saints’ Day or “Undas”.

Meanwhile, necrological services, inurnment, and wakes will be allowed in accordance to existing guidelines of Inter-Agency Task Force.
