Marc Polo Luis "Raven" Fausto displayed his deadly form as he led Fnatic to a 28-10 victory over Team Undying in their do-or-die match of the lower bracket playoffs in The International 10 at the Arena Națională in Bucharest, Romania on Tuesday, October 12.
Raven shone anew for the Southeast Asia representative, finishing with an impeccable 13-0-8 KDA on his Luna to carry the load for his team . He was backstopped by fellow Filipino Djardel “DJ" Mampusti on his Clockwerk (4-5-21 ) and Malaysian Ng "ChYuan" Kee Chyuan on his Void spirit (5-1-14).
It was a dominating performance for Fnatic which took the driver's seat at the 10-minute mark of the game when it took down two heroes on the side of Undying during a mid-lane skirmish to take an early 6-3 lead.
It was all Fnatic from that point as Raven quickly snowballed and dominated every team fight.
A crucial clash in the bottom lane near Undying’s high ground allowed Raven to score a double kill to further pad Fnatic’s lead. Raven then scored another triple kill on the next team fight at the 26-minute mark to put the fight out of the North American squad and seal the victory.
Fnatic will next face Team Spirit in a best-of-3 series in the second round of the lower bracket playoffs on Wednesday.
Team Spirit lost earlier to Invictus Gaming, 2-1, in their upper bracket match-up.
