Trucks will be prohibited from passing through Nagtahan flyover in Manila until April next year due to damages it sustained from the recent earthquakes, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) announced Tuesday, Oct. 12.
MMDA officials explained in a press conference that the banning of trucks in the area will avoid the clogging of vehicles as several lanes will be occupied for the repair of the bridge.

They advised truck drivers to take detours instead.
In March, the southbound lane of Nagtahan flyover will also be totally closed to motorists to rehabilitate and repair the cracks and replace the broken steel casing.
