We are pleased to announce the opening of the newly renovated Agora Market today because it is the only public market in San Juan and ever since it was built decades ago, it finally underwent rehabilitation under this Makabagong San Juan administration,” Zamora said.

Zamora said that the renovation includes the installation of brand new lights and sanitation stations, making the market compliant with the minimum public health and safety protocols against COVID-19.

The market is important to me because its renovation is a showcase of a healthy and strong economy of the city. And in this time of the pandemic, it is essential that the market is clean and orderly)," he added.

Meanwhile, the local government unit distributed P3,000 to all vendors and stall owners of Agora Market.
