Julia Barretto on being compared to aunt Claudine: 'We're different'

Julia Barretto did not inherit her acting ability from Claudine Barretto.

She said so during a recent press conference.

“Nakuha? Naku, siguro wala," she said.

Not that she thinks she is a better actress.

She actually look up to her aunt, only that she feels she could never ever compare.

"Nag-iisa lang siya, e," she quipped.

She went on to relate: "Napakahusay niya, and growing up you know I’ve been always vocal about this, I have always been a fan of her and her work, of her projects and I really looked up to her growing up as an actress.”

“Pero again, siguro when it comes to our craft – iba. We’re different, because again,  iba siya. Iba talaga siyang umarte… iba talaga siya.”
