5 nabbed, P467K shabu seized in QC stings

Police arrested five people and seized more than P467,000 worth of shabu in separate buy-bust operations in Quezon City on Tuesday, Oct. 12.

Operatives from Quezon City Police District (QCPD) Masambong Station carried out the first operation, arresting two suspects --Manuel Fernandez, 42, and Randy Abellon, 32 -- at about 3:45 a.m. on Tuesday in front of Sergio Osmeña High School in Brgy. Masambong.

Recovered from the suspects were 50 grams of suspected shabu valued at P340,000 and the boodle money used in the operation.

In another operation, police officers from Fairview Police Station arrested Jomar Sameniano, 38; Alexander Dorado, 46; and Marrie Villanueva, 24.

The suspects yielded a cellular phone, boodle money, and some 20 grams of shabu with an estimated value of P136,000.

The suspects will be charged for violation of Republic Act 9165 or The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
