Robes couple for re-election as San Jose del Monte mayor, representative

San Jose Del Monte City Rep. Florida “Rida” P. ‘Robes and her husband, SJDM Mayor Arthur Robes, are seeking re-election as both vowed to continue the march to progress of the Bulacan locality.

The Robes couple has been credited for transforming the city into one of the most progressive local government unit in Central Luzon.

Seeking a third and final term as Lower House member, Rep. Robes is among the more prolific bill authors in the Lower House.

Mayor Robes, on the other hand, has won the recognition from Bulacan provincial leaders for his strong push in making SJDM the fast-rising city in Luzon.

The couple filed their respective certificates of candidacy before the city’s Commission on Elections office last week. They are running under the administration party PDP-Laban and the local ticket Arangkada.

Joining them in the Arangkada ticket are R Enrique Delos Santos Jr. (Provincial Board Member); Efren Bartolome Jr. (Vice Mayor); Julieta Abela, Liezl Aguirre-Abat, Rosalyn Cabuco, Janet Reyes, Oliver Robes, and Glenn Villano (Councilors for District 1) and Benjamin Acibal Jr., Romeo Agapito, Argel Joseph Drio, Ryan Elfa, Celso Francisco and Vanessa Michelle Roquero (Councilors for District 2).

The Arangkada ticket vowed to continue the dramatic development of San Jose Del Monte City from a government settlement area to a highly urbanized city under the leadership of Rep. Robes and Mayor Robes.
