Edward Barber sends out message to voters via IG

Various social media platforms are abuzz with posts about candidates for the May 2022 elections hence it is refreshing to see a post, not about politics but more about how to vote.

On Oct. 11, the first day of the almost month-long extension of voter registration, Kapamilya young actor and host Edward Barber posted a three-part video on his Instagram account (edward_barber) about the reopening of the registration by the Commission on Elections.

Barber, one of the Star Magic election ambassadors, urged those who have yet to register to take advantage of the opportunity.

It was not the first time he used social media to boost the campaign. In September, via TikTok he shared important information on the requirements and where to register.  

Barber, who will be voting for the first time, was among the early birds to register in September last year.

Confidently talking in unfaltering Tagalog, Barber said: "Naka-rehistro ka na ba sa Halalan 2022? Kung hindi pa, wag kayong mag-alala dahil may pagkakataon pa kayo dahil extended ang voter's registration mula Oct. 11 hanggang Oct. 30, Mondays to Fridays, 8 a.m to 5 p.m. Remember po ang huling araw po ng extended registration ay Sabado, Oct. 30. Kaya magpa-rehistro na tayo, baguhin natin ang kinabukasan ng bansa natin."

Well said, Mr. Election Ambassador!
