The Wyverns pulled away for good as early as halftime, putting up a comfortable 35-21 lead courtesy of Jawad Williams, who scored seven points alone in the second quarter.

Both teams traded baskets entering the payoff period but Mark Burton's jump shot at the 3:32 mark would be the last field goal coming from Tokyo en route to a commanding 76-55 lead.

The Wyverns know no mercy as they continued chipping in points from the free throw line and completed an 8-0 run capped by an Orlando Sanchez jumper with 20 ticks to go for the beatdown.

Williams and Josei Maniwa scored 15 points apiece while Ryohei Kawabe and Shunto Murakami both fired 12 markers.

Yoshifumi Nakajima and Sanchez joined the double-digit scoring haul for the Wyverns with 11 and 10 points, respectively.

After playing limited minutes and scoreless last game against the Wyverns, De Liano, this time, posted 11 points, three assists, two rebounds, and one steal on almost 19 minutes of play in a losing effort.

Mark Noelia topscored for the Earthfriends with 16 points to go with nine rebounds and one block while Joshua Crawford added 10 markers, five rebounds, two assists, one steal, and one block.

Yamagata won its four straight games while Tokyo faced the opposite fate and remained winless at 0-4 record.
