The Peninsula Manila also ranked fifth in Travel + Leisure’s ‘Top 15 Asia City Hotels’

In Travel + Leisure, The Peninsula Manila ranked No. 25 on a list of The Top 100 Hotels in the World that include city hotels, jungle glamping, palace resorts, luxe safari lodges, and seaside hideaways that span the globe, from the Caribbean to Southeast Asia, from Africa to South America.
The Peninsula Manila is the only Philippine hotel to make it on the much-coveted lists. The hotel garnered an average score of 98.40 percent based on a survey where Travel + Leisure readers were asked to weigh in on travel experiences around the globe, sharing their opinions on the top hotels, resorts, cities, islands, cruise ships, spas, airlines, and more. Hotels were rated on their facilities, location, service, food, and overall value. Properties were classified as city or resort based on their locations and amenities.
“Everyone in the hotel is so delighted that we have received this prestigious accolade, especially when we have just celebrated our 45th anniversary in September amid these challenging times for our industry,” said Masahisa Oba, general manager of the Peninsula Manila.
Throughout its 45-year history, the hotel has weathered many highs and lows. It has been a continued exercise in resilience, agility, and constant concern for the safety and security of guests and employees. “I am confident our continued commitments, coupled with our strong legacy and exceptional heritage, will enable us to emerge stronger,” said Oba.
