DAGUPAN CITY, Pangasinan – The province of Pangasinan, under the leadership of Governor Amado ‘Pogi’ Espino III, is again included in the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s (PCCI) most business-friendly LGUs.

PCCI, the country’s largest business organization, is annually hosting a search for the most business-friendly LGU.

Pangasinan is included in the 14 finalists of said search.

The chamber was wowed by the provincial government’s Abig Pangasinan – Espino’s flagship program, aimed at the COVID-19 response and economic recovery of towns and the cities in Pangasinan.

The PCCI watched a pre-recorded video highlighting different programs under the Abig Pangasinan, with some of the province’s department heads giving reasonable answers to the panel of judges appointed by the prestigious business chamber.

The announcement and awarding ceremonies will be held on November 18, at the 47th Philippine Business Conference & Expo at the PCCI Innovation Center in Pasay City.

Other finalists include Negros Occidental, Palawan, Tarlac, Rizal, Laguna, Davao del Norte, La Union, Cavite, Bulacan, Camarines Sur, Bohol, Aklan, and Bataan.
