This Saturday, Oct. 9, in “Oh My Job," Rosalla Susana Bahia-Catapang of the Fund and Investment Management Office of the Overseas Worker Welfare Administration, will discuss the pre-deployment orientation seminar (PDOS), a whole-day orientation for overseas Filipino workers.

It consists of modules on employment contract, country of destination, stages of OFW’s life abroad, health and safety, financial literacy, travel tips and airport procedures, and government programs and services.

The training is mandatory for all departing migrant workers, aimed at preparing them for a new life overseas. This will be attended by all workers (all skills) prior to their deployment abroad.

In his segment “Sagot Ka ni Bebot”, Department Of Labor and Employment Secretary Bello will discuss the latest on his department and answer callers’ questions on various topics related to employers and employees.

Labor Attaché of Jeddah, Roel Martin will talk about the case of OFWs in Jeddah.

Anchor Bea Binene will teach us “How to Be-a Good Employee” in her very helpful segment, while anchor Arnell Ignacio’s segment “Tips.Work," he will once again chime in on the popular topic of how can one earn without leaving home.

Anchor Tuesday Niu will also give us interesting features on employment.
