Singer-Actor LA Santos is proud that he is playing an important role in ABS-CBN's biggest 2022 teleserye “Darna."
LA will co-star with Jane De Leon who will play the part of the Pinay superhero “Darna” together with Iza Calzado as Leonor (the first Darna); Joshua Garcia, Police Officer Robles; and Zaijan Jaranilla, Ding.
Directors Avel Sunpongco and Chito Roño, together with head writer Keiko Aquino, will bring to life the latest version of the original creation of novelist Mars Ravelo.
On his social media account, LA gave his reaction to this latest project :
“I am very excited to announce that I am part of the upcoming teleserye, #DARNA! Ako po si Richard Miscala, isang part ng paramedics team. Abangan niyo po soon on Darna. Maraming salamat po JRB Creative Production !! 7k Sounds," he said.

The beautiful and talented Maja Salvador emerged as the National Winner for Asian Academy Creative Awards Best Actress in the recent virtual awards night last Sept. 30.
With her portrayal as Niña in the family drama series, Niña Niño, Salvador was able to give justice to the character. Her performance in the series was applauded, and her character was loved by its viewers.
Alongside, "Niña Niño" also won an award in the same event. The show was recognized as this year’s Best Drama Series. "Niña Nino" is a story of two siblings whose lives were changed by their faith and a miracle. This focuses on the importance of family, friendship, and love amidst all the struggles the characters are facing.
Meanwhile, "Sing Galing," a singing reality game show hosted by Randy Santiago, Donita Nose and K Brosas grabbed the Best Non-Scripted Entertainment award in the Asian Academy Creative Awards 2021.
Just in time with the recent airing of their newest edition, "Sing Galing Singlebrity," where celebrities play as the contestants. This show is more than just a singing contest, but it depicts the inspiring stories of its contestants who thrive in this time of the pandemic.

Big congratulations on the success of 2021 Gabay Guro as it continues to pay tribute to all Filipino teachers for their hard work and heroism in molding the minds of the youth via PLDT Smart Foundation’s annual Gabay Guro Grand Gathering.
The event was held virtually for the second year last October 2, with the theme “Guro sa Gitna ng Pandemya: Heroes for Digital Transformation” presented by Metro Pacific Investments Corp. (MPCI) and PLDT Home.
"Our teachers are the pillars of education. They pave the way for our children to have the best learning opportunities. It is through our Grand Gathering that we pay homage to the important role they play in transforming the lives of the next generation,” said Gabay Guro Chairperson Chaye Cabal-Revilla who is also the Chief Finance Officer and Chief Sustainability Officer of the Metro Pacific Investments Corp.
The star-studded Grand Gathering was hosted by Pops Fernandez, Iza Calzado, Derek Ramsay, Atom Araullo, and Dominic Roque, joiner by the country’s finest performers -- Sharon Cuneta, Regine Velasquez, Martin Nievera, Ogie Alcasid, Zsa Zsa Padilla, Kuh Ledesma, Basil Valdez, and Jose Mari Chan, among others.
