‘Squid Game’’s Jung Ho-yeon becomes Louis Vuitton’s newest ambassador

This is not the first time the model-turned-actress has been featured by the luxury label

After presenting its spring 2022 collection, Louis Vuitton announced that it has a new addition to its growing family of global ambassadors, and that is none other than “Squid Game” star Jung Ho-yeon.

The South Korean model and actress is stripping away her green player number 67 tracksuit and, from now on, will be donning the French luxury label’s designs featuring elements such as the interlocking monogram and the floral pattern we all know and love.

According to the label, this is not the first time it has featured Jung Ho-yeon. In the past, “Korea's next top model” has been seen on Louis Vuitton’s spring-summer runway and pre-fall ready-to-wear campaign in 2017.

“I immediately fell in love with Ho-yeon’s great talent and fantastic personality, and I am looking forward to starting this new chapter of the journey we started at Louis Vuitton a few years ago,” the house’s creative director Nicolas Ghesquière said.

“It is an honor to mark my beginnings as an actress with Louis Vuitton after having worked with them as a model. I’m looking forward to every moment I will experience with Louis Vuitton as their global ambassador,” Ho-yeon responded.

Congratulations, Jung Ho-yeon!
