This is Gadon's third attempt for a senate seat after losing in the 2016 and 2019 elections.

He will run under Kilusang Bagong Lipunan, the party which also nominated former Senator Bongbong Marcos for president.

Gadon hit the administrations of former Presidents Corazon Aquino and Benigno Aquino III "for failing to deliver their promise for 30 years."

He also pushed for the amendment of the 1987 Constitution.

"Ang nagpapahirap sa ating mga kababayan ay ang ating Konstitusyon sapagkat ang Konstitusyon natin ay hinuhubog para protektahan ang big business at oligarko (What makes our countrymen miserable is our Constitution because our Constitution is shaped to protect big businesses and the oligarchs," Gadon said.

"Ang 1987 Constitution ay isang dokumento na nagbibigay ng proteksyon sa big business (The 1987 Constitution is a document that provides protection to big business)."

The controversial lawyer is facing several disbarment complaints. Recently, calls to disbar him were launched anew after falsely suggesting in a radio program that the late President Benigno Aquino III had HIV.

He previously went viral for cursing and calling supporters of former Supreme Court Chief Justice Maria Lourdes Serene "mga bobo" (idiots).

In 2019, the Supreme Court suspended Gadon for three months over his use of "abusive and intemperate language."
