The ACT Teachers partylist is vying for another seat in Congress.

"Kung mananalo ulit, ipaglalaban pa rin ang disenteng sweldo para sa mga guro, pagwawakas ng kontraktwalisasyon, P1,000 monthly allowance, Internet allowance, additional benefits sa ating mga kaguruan, pagbaba ng retirement age (If we win again, we will still fight for a decent salary for teachers, termination of contractualization, P1,000 monthly allowance, Internet allowance, additional benefits for teachers, lowering of retirement age)," ACT Teachers partylist Rep. France Castro said.

Castro said the group will also push for free mass testing, contact tracing, enough treatment facilities, and vaccination should they get elected anew.

The partylist group won its first seat in Congress in 2010.

Meanwhile, Angat Edukasyon PARE seeks to represent retired educators in Congress.

" are focused on advocacies for teachers, learners, parents, and retired educators. Ang amin pong layunin ay maging katuwang ng ating pamahalaan (Our goal is to be a partner of our government), particularly the Department of Education, for them to realize their programs and project na naglalayon na maiangat ang kalidad ng edukasyon (that aim to raise the quality)," Angat Edukasyon PARE nominee Romeo Fernandez said.

The Philippine Educators Alliance for Community Empowerment (PEACE) and Advocacy for Teacher Empowerment Through Action, Cooperation, and Harmony Towards Education Reforms (A TEACHER) also filed their CONAs on Tuesday.
