Manila Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso promised a healing government as he officially joined the race for the presidency in the May 2022 elections.

The coronavirus disease (COVID-19) situation in Metro Manila continued to improve with the OCTA Research Group noting that it could now be categorized as “moderate risk”.
