Mayor Isko to announce Aksyon Demokratiko's senatorial slate soon

Presidential candidate Manila Mayor Francisco "Isko Moreno" Domagoso on Monday, Oct. 4, said the lineup for the Aksyon Demokratiko's senatorial slate will be announced in the coming weeks.

The Aksyon Demokratiko currently has two senatorial candidates, namely, Minadanoaon civic leader Samira Gutoc and entrepreneur Carl Balita.

“Kung sino yung pwede namang makasama na tutugon sa mga suliranin na ating kinakaharap, welcome po sila (Those who can be with us that can respond to the problems we are facing, they are welcome),” Domagoso said in a press conference held after he filed his Certificate of Candidacy (COC) for president early today at the Sofitel Hotel in Pasay City.

“Ano man ang katayuan nila -- oposisyon, administrasyon, ano pang kulay ‘yan, pula, asul, kahit ano pa sila -- what is important is our commonality (Whatever their status - opposition, administration, whatever color it is, red, blue, whatever they are - what is important is our commonality),” he added.

The Aksyon Demokratiko party officially named Domagoso as its presidential candidate in the 2022 elections last Sept. 27.
