A new hotel slated to open in 2022

This hotel on the rise at the heart of the Mall of Asia complex is a brand of Lanson Place, a wholly owned subsidiary of publicly listed Hong Kong company Wing Tai Properties Limited

Slated to open in 2022, the first Lanson Place in the Philippines is located at the heart of the Mall of Asia complex surrounded by the flagship SMX Convention Center Manila and the imposing eCom office buildings.

“We are very much looking forward to bringing our renowned hospitality to the Philippines and this exciting milestone brings us one step closer to being able to offer our guests the comfort of home, the devotion of our colleagues and the spirit of the Lanson Place community,” said Michael Hobson, Lanson Place Hospitality Management CEO.

SMHCC only recently topped out Lanson Place Mall of Asia, a brand of Lanson Place, a wholly owned subsidiary of publicly listed Hong Kong company Wing Tai Properties Limited (Wing Tai). Leading the ceremony were SM Prime Holdings, Inc. executive committee chairman Hans T. Sy, SM Hotels and Conventions Corp. president Elizabeth T. Sy, and SM Hotels and Conventions Corp executive vice president Peggy E. Angeles.

“SMHCC takes pride in bringing the Lanson Place brand to the country. As the hospitality industry moves closer to its recovery, we believe that the introduction of Lanson Place Mall of Asia will help pave the way to more robust and dynamic tourism in the Philippines,” added Elizabeth T. Sy.

Within 15 minutes away from the capital’s two international airports, Lanson Place Hotel and Serviced Suites Mall of Asia is strategically located near the city’s main commercial and entertainment districts as well as tourist attractions such as museums and historical landmarks. 

The hotel rooms as well as the well-appointed serviced apartments are designed in sleek, contemporary style. Facilities include an all-day dining restaurant, a fitness center, and a rooftop swimming pool offering a full view of the picturesque Manila Bay. An al fresco facility on the podium caters to relaxing intimate events.
