“I have been thinking of ways to serve the people and one is through politics. If given a chance to serve, I want to promote kapwa-centered development (pagpapakatao, pakikipagkapwa-tao, and pagkamakatao towards self-reliance and civic consciousness) in Caloocan and, eventually, in different parts of the country,” Cabochan said.

The Aksyon Demokratiko party member said that progress begins with the recognition and cultivation of the natural abilities of people.

“With the help of volunteer resource persons, we have already initiated doormat weaving training, rag circle making, dishwashing/fabric conditioner- making, and cosmetology training in various barangays in Caloocan,” he said.

Amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, Cabochan supports the feeding and community programs of Pandayan ng Damdamin ng Bayan, a multisectoral people’s organization; the livelihood programs of two mission stations of San Roque Parish; and the early detection and intervention program of Bigkis ng PWD Association (BIPA).

Cabochan took his oath last Sept. 20 as a member of Aksyon Demokratiko party now led by Manila Mayor Francisco "Isko Moreno" Domagoso.

Aksyon Demokratiko chairperson Ernest Ramel said that Cabochan’s clean track record and advocacy is a perfect fit for the political party’s legislative agenda and political platform.“Ang track record ni Cabochan sa larangan ng pag-aaral at negosyo ay patunay ng kanyang kakayahang magtagumpay sa mundo ng politika. Si Cabochan ay isang magna cum laude graduate ng Business Management mula sa Ateneo de Manila (ADMU). Nag-aral din siya ng Masters of Community Development sa University of the Philippines (UP) (Cabochan’s track record in both education and business is more than enough proof of his capability to succeed in politics. Cabochan is a magna cum laude graduate of Business Management from the Ateneo de Manila. He also took Masters of Community Development at the University of the Philippines),” Ramel said.
