Tony Parker's 'The Final Shot' documentary now streaming on Netflix

San Antonio Spurs great Tony Parker is the center of attention in Netflix's new sports film documentary.

On Wednesday, streaming platform Netflix released the documentary titled "Tony Parker: The Final Shot" which chronicles Parker's success story in life and his basketball career.

Directed by Florent Bodin, The Final Shot includes clips from his younger years as a French basketball player to achieving his all-time great status as part of the champion franchise Spurs in the NBA.

Spurs icons Tim Duncan, David Robinson, veteran coach Greg Popovich, late Lakers star Kobe Bryant and other NBA greats were also interviewed for the star-studded documentary.

"He is arguably the greatest French basketball player of all-time — now, meet the man behind the legacy," wrote Netflix Queue on its official Twitter account accompanied with a 30-second teaser.

In his 18 seasons in the NBA, Parker bagged four championships with the Spurs, including a Finals Most Valuable award in 2007 and six All-Star appearances.

The French-American basketball star was also named FIBA EuroBasket MVP in 2013 and back-to-back FIBA Europe Player of the Year in the same year and in 2014.

"He's responsible for me not winning more championships," said Bryant in the teaser.

Duncan also lauded Parker's tenacity despite suffering a ruptured quadriceps tendon in his left leg during the Western Conference semifinals in May 2017 against the Houston Rockets.

"His injury can end people's careers. He didn't accept that answer."

Before retiring from the sport in June 2019, Parker had his last run in the NBA with the Charlotte Hornets.
